Homeowners planning to make any alterations to the exterior of
their
properties or any interior alterations which are visible from the
exterior are required to make applications to Committee.
Am I required to be at the
meeting?No. For the time being, homeowners are not required to attend the meetings. When will I know the status of my submittal?
On
the same day of the meetings, you may call the Concierge or the ARC
liaison to ascertain the status of your submittal. A letter will be
mailed to you within 24 hrs for you to keep with your records,
notifying you of your status as well. Please ensure that if there are
delays to your submittal that you notify the HOA. Please also ensure
that any changes to your submittal are resubmitted for review prior to
making these changes. When the changes are comple, please submit your
Notice of Completion (which is sent with your letter of Approval) so
that it may be added to your file.
What is required of me if I
wish to build a fence?
Homeowners
wishing to install a fence must, in addition to the application form,
schematics, and plot plan, also submit signed fence detail sign off
sheets, and a signed joint application for fence signed by the
homeowner(s) and neighboring property, if the fence is positioned on
the property line, or a single application for fence signed by the
applicant, if the fence is positioned within the property line of the
applicant. If the applicant wishes to apply for a joint application,
but the adjacent property is owned by the Declarant, then the homeowner
must acquire the signature from the Sales office.
How many days do I have from time of approval to complete the improvements?
Homeowners
have 90 days from time of approval to complete their plans. If more
than 90 days, the homeowner must notify the HOA, and resubmit the
previously approved plans.
I
want to subsitute an item that is very similar to my original plans, do
I need to tell the ARC or notify the HOA?
Yes.
Any alterations to a plan previously approved by the ARC must be
submitted to the ARC as a landscaping modifcation and await approval in
order to be enacted.
How many days do I have to
complete my initial landscaping?Homeowners have 90 days from time of closing to complete the
required initial landscaping.
